The Uniformed and Overseas Citizen Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) Temporary Clerk is a skilled multitasker who works with high-volume, time-sensitive work. You will be responsible for assisting military and overseas voters in registering to vote, updating their voter records, processing their requests for early ballots, and instructing them on how to send/receive ballot materials. You must possess professional communication skills (verbal and written) and have advanced computer skills. This position may also support other divisional operations within Early Voting (e.g., Signature Verification, Curing, etc.). The ideal candidate will be adaptable, flexible, and able to learn new tasks quickly. About Us The Maricopa County Recorder's Office (MCRO) is responsible for maintaining the Maricopa County voter registration records and for administering elections in partnership with the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. The MCRO also maintains a permanent public record of over 50 million documents dating back to 1871, including deeds, plat maps, and other important records. Our office serves over 2.5 million registered voters and 4.4 million residents across Maricopa County. We Require This position requires a High School diploma or GED. Other Requirements
