IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION,CANDIDATE MUST BE SERVING PERMANENTLY IN THE SUPERVISOR BRICKLAYER TITLE, OR BE REACHABLE ON THE CIVIL SERVICE LIST, EXAM # 3592. Minimum Qualifications 1. Seven (7) years of full-time experience acquired within the last 15 years as a Bricklayer, two (2) years of which must have been of a supervisory nature. Preferred Skills
The selected candidate may be required to work various shifts (including nights, weekends and holidays). Some of the physical activities includes crouching, carrying tools and/or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds working outdoors in all kinds of weather wearing required PPE (hard hat, work gloves, vest, work boots) when performing work and removing concrete with hand tools and/or power tools. Preference will be given to candidate who possess a commercial Driver's License CDL A or B valid in the state of New York with no restrictions.
