*Service Desk Technician* *Position Overview* A Service Desk Technician is needed to assist a highvolume support team responsible for responding to incoming calls and email tickets. This role involves basic troubleshooting, documenting issues, and supporting users across a variety of applications and devices. The ideal candidate brings strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly in a fastpaced environment.
*Key Responsibilities* * Respond to incoming phone calls and emailbased support requests. * Work within two support queues: application support and general technical inquiries. * Perform basic troubleshooting for software, hardware, and accountrelated issues. * Document all interactions and resolutions clearly in the ticketing system. * Manage highvolume workloads, with daily ticket counts ranging from several hundred to over a thousand across the team. * Assist with new application or system rollouts when needed. * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely resolution of user issues. * Support additional tasks as assigned. *Required Skills* * Strong customer service and communication abilities. * Experience handling phonebased support or help desk inquiries. * Ability to troubleshoot basic issues across operating systems and mobile devices. * Familiarity with documentation practices in a ticketing environment. * Ability to work efficiently in a highvolume, fastpaced setting. *Preferred Skills* * Experience supporting Windows environments. * Exposure to user account administration. * Familiarity with mobile device troubleshooting. * Prior experience assisting with application rollouts. * Work history in customer service, retail, or other peoplefocused roles. *Soft Skills & Attributes* * Outgoing, friendly, and eager to learn. * Strong initiative and willingness to take ownership. * Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. * Teamoriented mindset with a positive attitude. *Work Environment* * Team of six, currently understaffed, offering opportunities to make an immediate impact. * Highvolume support environment with frequent user interaction. *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
