What you will do:

We are seeking a detail oriented Entry-Level Data Analyst to support data quality, reporting, and process improvement across our global manufacturing organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that data used by teams across multiple countries is accurate, consistent, and reliable.

The Data Analyst will work closely with process owners, operational leaders, and technical resources to identify data issues, understand their root causes, and support corrective and preventive measures. In addition, the role contributes to reporting and dashboard development, helping to deliver insights and tools that serve team members across various time zones, languages, and functional areas.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys investigating data problems, improving workflows, and learning how analytics supports large-scale business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Quality & Cleanup

  • Identify, review, and resolve data issues across core systems such as Business Central, Salesforce, SQL databases, and Excel.
  • Analyze incorrect, incomplete, or inconsistent data to determine the underlying causes of errors.
  • Work directly with process leads from Operations, Sales, Purchasing, finance, and other departments to address root causes and align corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to correct faulty entries, implement cleanup procedures, and help prevent recurring issues.
  • Document cleanup steps, findings, and recommendations in a clear, repeatable manner.
  • Participate in ongoing data validation and audit checks to maintain long-term data integrity

Process & Workflow Improvement

  • Provide input on improving data-entry workflows and operational processes based on patterns seen during cleanup activities.
  • Assist in developing or refining standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to data management.
  • Help standardize data naming conventions, definitions, and structures across multiple global teams and languages.
  • Support initiatives that promote consistent data usage and high-quality data practices across the organization.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Update, modify, and maintain existing Power BI dashboards and reports to support user requests and business requirements.
  • Ensure all reporting outputs reflect validated, accurate, and high-integrity data.
  • Assist with basic analysis of manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and finance data to help answer operational questions.
  • Create and work with pre-built tools and templates to generate effective reporting solutions for team members across multiple time zones and countries.
  • Contribute to the development of new visualizations, metrics, or reporting features under the direction of the Team Lead.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work with team-members across different countries and cultural backgrounds, including English, German, and Spanish-speaking teams.
  • Translate technical data issues into clear explanations for non-technical users.
  • Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations in an organized and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the Team Lead, who assigns and prioritizes tasks and provides support as needed.
Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Strong attention to detail and a natural curiosity for understanding how & why data issues occur.

Basic working knowledge of Excel, SQL, Power Query, or business intelligence tools such as Power BI.

Ability to communicate effectively across cultures & collaborate with multilingual teams.

Strong analytical thinking with the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Creative and flexible when dealing with different varieties of projects and problems.

Ability to travel up to 15% of the time as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on exposure to manufacturing data, supply chain processes, or ERP/CRM environments (Business Central preferred).

Experience supporting or communicating with global and multilingual teams.

Basic familiarity with DAX, MCode, data modeling, Excel, or ETL concepts.

Understanding of data governance or data integrity best practices.
