Here's what you'd do

• Completes activities related to larger and more complex installations, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems, hardware, software, and related infrastructure.
• Ensures system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff and partners.
• Respond to and resolve help desk escalations based on the outcome of previous incidents.
• Create trending information on system issues to support efforts to address identified issues from the analysis.
• Create and document procedures for work order and request-based tasks.
• Respond to and resolve identified technical incidents requiring advanced problem-solving; analyze and isolate the issues.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues.
• Complete systems maintenance activities following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), such as patching, health checks, operating system updates, validating changes, and maintaining operational and configuration standards.
• Research options when anomalies occur; identify recommendations to address them and review with senior staff.
• Schedule maintenance changes to reduce operational risk.
• Participate in project work in cross-functional teams; lead technical team within a project, and provide input to design efforts.
• Provide coaching to less experienced staff on processes and technologies.
• Complete evening responsibilities as scheduled.
• Initiate, create, and document procedures for maintenance tasks and other needs to serve as a reference source.
• Identify opportunities to automate or improve SOP and maintenance tasks to improve efficiency.
• Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite.
• Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
• Promote an environment that supports diversity and aligns with the client's brand.
• Maintain client internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points, and address any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
• Standards: Definition of job syntax and access standards.
• Quality Assurance: Perform reviews of job definitions to ensure accuracy before movement into production. Also, in collaboration with application teams, the setup, testing and review of job execution in the non-production environments.
• Production Migrations: Movement of job definitions as well as the scheduling requirements into production.
• Incident Resolution: Research and correct processing errors as required.
• Application Upgrades: Perform configuration and implementation activities for the scheduling application upgrades, as well as supporting technologies.
• Disaster Recovery: Provide technical assistance for preparation, testing and support.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in reading and digesting technical information.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in communicating technical information within a team and to the immediate manager.
• Minimum 6 years of working experience with the following technologies:
  1. Broadcom Automic job scheduler or products such as Broadcom Autosys, BMC Control-M, Forta JAMS, and Redwood ActiveBatch.

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Detail-oriented.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good customer focus, including the ability to manage customer needs and multiple work priorities.
• Certifications or special training in related technologies.
• Helpful experience in the following technologies:
  1. Windows and Linux (Red Hat) Operating Systems.
  2. Oracle and SQL Database Management Systems.
  3. Cloud technologies, such as Azure Cloud/DevOps.
  4. Experience with monitoring, backups, and scheduling batch jobs in a Production environment.
  5. Coordinating and maintaining several environments (Prod, Cert, Dev).
