Quality Control Team Leader

Almac Group is currently seeking a Quality Control Team Leader for our Souderton, Pa. location. The QC Team Leader is a first-tier leadership role responsible for the daily oversight of QC output and performance, the development of QC staff, and the on-time delivery of QC activities in line with customer expectations, timelines, and regulatory demands.

Effectively lead and develop the QC Supervisors (and through them, QC Inspectors), fostering a positive working environment and being accountable for team performance against service levels, KPIs and timelines.

Interacts with Quality, Business Development, Operations, Project Services, Logistics, and customer personnel to address quality issues.

Proactively identify process simplification opportunities and implement improvements (e.g., SOP updates, forms/templates, visual controls) in collaboration with global counterparts

Regularly adopt GEMBA techniques and positively engage with personnel to understand challenges and issues through continuous assessment and implement change where necessary

Support the Associate Director / QC Manager during Tier 1 Management Review meetings, creating a collaborative space for two-way communication with the team with a focus on performance in relation to PQS indicators, trends, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Education:

Bachelor's Degree

A minimum of 3 years working within a Quality related role.

A minimum of 3 years working in a GMP Environment.

Preferred Experience / Education :

Bachelor's Degree Level (or Equivalent) qualification within a Life Science or Engineering discipline

Experience within a supervisory role, to include line management responsibility.

Experience with chemical/physical sampling and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and/or finished goods is preferred.

Experience in GMP and job skills training is desired.
