Job Description/Tasks/Responsibilities
- Acts as a liaison for establishing and maintaining lines of communications with EnergySolutions Account Executives, Operations and our customers. Coordinates waste acceptance and waste shipment needs with both external and internal customers, while also serving as the single point of contact for the facility.
- Schedules waste shipments from customer sites.
- Provides detailed instruction to operations on special handling/processing instructions. Assists the Account Executive as necessary to provide information concerning customer unpaid invoices.
- Tracks aged waste and non conforming waste through processes or to be returned to our customers.
- Follows up with Ops, yard to be sure aged waste is being returned.
- Works with Operations to get out of WAG (Waste Acceptance Guidelines) material approved for processing. Serves as a point of contact for operations, transportation, logistics, schedulers and container group for all waste receipts and outgoing shipments regarding customers material.
- Serves as a point of contact for all mixed waste shipments and approvals. Provides rail shipment tracking support as needed.
- Manages waste-stream acceptance and maintains profiles.
- Maintains weekly waste load forecast.
- Updates database with customer permits, i.e., TSL, export, RML, EPA, etc.
- Prepares Land Disposal Notification and Certificate Forms (LDR) for mixed waste shipments to disposal.
- Enters all signed receipt acknowledgements in database for outbound shipments when received, and tracks shipments for non-receipts weekly.
- Ensures Certificate of Disposal (COD) for PCB shipments received from disposal site as required.
- Assists in providing information in regards to special quotes as necessary.
- Works with the Contracts department to ensure all contract line items are loaded for each shipment prior to receipt.
- Prepares monthly customer reports as necessary.
- In addition to all duties as Coordinator 1, Coordinator 2 also has additional duties or is performing actively in a dual position.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements/Skills
- Detailed knowledge regarding the use of Microsoft Office software
- Strong communication skills
- Detailed knowledge regarding facility operations
- Ability and willingness to travel on occasion as necessary
- Ability to multitask with minimal supervision
- Detailed knowledge regarding the use of Oracle based AccuTrack Navigation preferred
Physical/Mental Requirements and Working Conditions
- Ability to sit
- Ability to effectively communicate; speaking, reading, understanding, writing and hearing clear English; pass audiogram in hearing conservation program as required by location
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work inside an office

- Ability to perform under deadline pressure
- Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
| Minimum Education, Experience and Certification Requirements |
Education
- Associate's degree required
- Degree in Business Management preferred or equivalent experience in Customer Service

Certifications
- Shipping Broker Certification preferred

Required Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as Technical Services Coordinator or related experience.
