Job Title: Structural Assembler
Location: Huntington Beach, CA 92647
Duration: 12 Months assignment with possible extension
Shift Schedule: 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $27/hr. on W2 without benefits
Job Description:
- Engineering Development Mechanic supports building activities for mechanical assemblies, heavy structure drill out, bonding, fastener installation, assembling components and wire harness installations.
- Typical work includes building, modifying, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing components and structural assemblies used in production of product lines. The role bridges hands-on mechanical work and executes planned work through work orders, designs, computer models, processes and procedures. Must be able to obtain Security Clearance after hiring .
Role & Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, and using standard hand/power tools and precision instruments.
- Maintain accurate buyoffs of completed work, inspections, and non-conformances.
- Collaborate with engineers to suggest design changes and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and configuration control.
Required Skills:
- Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance, machine trades, or manufacturing technologies.
- Experience with composites, titanium, sheet metal, riveting, fastening, wiring, tubing, and basic machining. Familiarity with drawings, blueprints, and technical data.
- Use of tooling: torque wrenches, countersinks, drills, deburring tools, and calibrated equipment.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and good communication with engineers and teammates.
Education/Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).
