Position Overview: This position is responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that amplifies brand presence, engages target audiences, and drives measurable results across all platforms. This role blends creative vision with data-driven insights to develop platform-specific content strategies, manage organic and paid campaigns, and foster community engagement. By staying ahead of trends and leveraging emerging tools, the strategist ensures the brand remains relevant, innovative, and impactful in the digital space.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute platform-specific strategies based on audience behavior, media performance, and brand objectives.
  • Manage daily operations across all social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to co-own, manage and maintain a strategic social content calendar that aligns with brand initiatives, campaign timelines, and audience engagement goals.
  • Lead visual and written social strategy in collaboration with creative, events, and digital teams.
  • Assist in coordination of media capture efforts (motion, still, and written) to support content needs.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations to optimize content and strategy.
  • Plan and execute paid social campaigns aligned with broader marketing goals.
  • Optimize organic content to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Stay current on social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brand advocates, influencers, and relevant communities.
  • Engage with audiences to foster community and brand loyalty.
  • Utilize social media management platforms (e.g., Sprout Social) for scheduling, publishing, monitoring, and reporting to streamline workflows and enhance performance tracking.


Position Skills/Educational Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in a marketing-related field; or a two-year degree with comparable experience.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a plus.
  • Proven experience managing and growing social media platforms for a brand or organization, with a strong understanding of analytics tools and performance metrics.
  • Experience with paid social media campaigns and ad platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and visual.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a strong awareness of emerging trends and technologies.
  • Skilled in using and analyzing multiple social media platforms to grow engagement while aligning with company policy and strategy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to identify social media cues (e.g., trending hashtags, sensitive topics) and confidently engage with audiences across platforms.
  • Creative and strategic in crafting engaging content.
  • Able to provide guidance on video and social media-related topics.
  • Capable of maintaining a production schedule, organizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Keen eye for aesthetics and superior attention to detail.
  • Strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to travel as needed to support content creation, event coverage, and cross-functional collaboration.
