Mortgage Quality Control Auditor

The Mortgage Quality Control Auditor will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing mortgage loan credit applications, approved and closed, to determine if the loan meets the guidelines set by the Bank, investors, and standard guidelines established by FNMA, FHLMC, USDA, VA, FHA, as well as any and all compliance related requirements. This position will be responsible for the performance of, but not limited to, the below listed duties.

Perform pre-funding and post-closing audits on loan documentation on selected loan samples
• Ensure all requirements are met on all Bank products, Investor products, and Agency products, including Automated Underwriting Feedback and Manual guidelines
• Ensure all compliance guidelines and documentation requirements are met
• Ensure property valuations meet agency and bank guidelines through AVM products and Agency products
• Ensure all third party resources are reviewed to validate critical risk components of the mortgage credit file including IRS Tax Transcripts
• Review all re-verifications to ensure that the information that was provided to approve the loan was indeed true and accurate
• Responsible for complying with BSA policies and procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years job related experience in mortgage industry
• Ability to operate a personal computer using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Working knowledge of loan documentation and mortgage terminology
• Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers as well as fellow employees
• Knowledge of all necessary computer applications
