As a Business Banking Portfolio Manager, you'll support the growth and stability of the Business Banking portfolio by analyzing credit requests, monitoring client performance, and ensuring sound risk management. This role offers hands-on experience with commercial lending and direct exposure to client relationships, building a strong foundation for career growth in banking and credit.

Key Accountabilities

  • Analyze financial statements and credit data to evaluate loan requests and recommend appropriate structures.

  • Manage portfolio renewals and annual reviews, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

  • Partner with Relationship Managers and internal teams to support client needs and credit inquiries.

  • Monitor loan performance and proactively address risk, including past due accounts.

  • Prepare and present credit recommendations for loan approval decisions.

  • Maintain compliance with credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Support portfolio growth by strengthening existing client relationships and identifying opportunities.

Education & Experience
Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience

  • 1+ years of experience in commercial banking, credit analysis, or lending

  • Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed

Preferred:

  • Experience with credit underwriting or loan portfolio management

  • Familiarity with commercial lending policies and regulatory standards
