Job Title: Manufacturing Operator II, Mon-Fri/6 am to 2:30 pmJob Description: Position Summary: The Manufacturing Operator is the first point of contact on the production and is expected to have technical, analytical judgement to support and assist our highly automated manufacturing process. They are critical contributor in providing efficient and continuous improvement on the production floor. The Nova Manufacturing Operator I position is responsible for safely operating production equipment to process a membrane. Operators are responsible for maintaining highly automated and advanced manufacturing in order to manufacture a highly complex membrane. The individual contributor will be trained to safely operate and analyze the process and train others to do the same. The position requires, technical ability, machine troubleshooting teamwork, and problem-solving skills and a willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. And Completes other duties as assigned. Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Education, Experience, Physical Requirements):
Manufacturing Associate I (A) High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 year manufacturing experience preferred. Training on Basics of position. Manufacturing Associate II (B) 1-2 years work related experience. Performs all duties in assigned area and follows all documented processes and procedures without assistance. Manufacturing Associate III (C) 2 years work related experience. Advanced level skill sets and becomes SME in assigned area. Crossed trained in all work centers in assigned area. Requires certification within variety of product lines. Manufacturing Associate IV (D) 3 or more years of work related experience. Ability to obtain certification as required for specialized training paths. Complete Train the Trainer and provide training to less experienced manufacturing associates. Manufacturing Associate V (E) Completed Train the Trainer Trainer level expert. Assist in developing training pathways and certification materials. Lean & 6 Sigma Competencies The employee is required to have at minimum working knowledge and previous work experience in the following competencies. The items with an (*) are certification required and (^) certification recommended.
