What to Expect
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and hardworking quality technician with a good eye for detail. You will be responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on our company products and processes to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. You may also be required to maintain calibrated test equipment, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality improvement. Provide quality support to projects from the planning phase to project completion. To ensure success as a quality technician, you should have a strong working knowledge of mathematical concepts, hands-on experience of quality systems, excellent visual awareness, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Ultimately, a top-class quality technician can efficiently monitor the integrity and quality of products without impeding production rates.
What You'll Do
- Auditing products and processes according to quality and safety standards
- Ensuring goods and products comply with company standards as well as Federal and State law
- Collecting test data and drafting quality reports. Reporting quality anomalies to the supervisor
- Developing and maintaining company inspection reports
- Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly
- Determining data-driven solutions and implementing quality improvement plans
- Assisting with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures. Ensuring production is not hindered by quality testing procedures
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment in alignment with 5S principles
- Adapting quickly to changing priorities and shifting task demands in a fast-paced production setting
What You'll Bring
- 4 years of experience in the quality field, or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience
- ASQ CQE, CQA, 6 sigma certification or equivalent is preferred
- Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and standard work procedures
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills
- High-level of visual awareness and advanced organizational skills
- Experience drafting reports and analyzing data and excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work alone with minimal supervision, stand or sit for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Expected Compensation
$27.31 - $40.59/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
