About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Sales Forecasting & Planning

Own end-to-end bookings forecasting processes, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting cycles. Partner with Sales leadership to validate commit, upside, and risk, ensuring forecast accuracy and predictability. Maintain back-testing models and continuously improve forecasting methodology.

Quota & Coverage Modeling

Lead quota allocation modeling, coverage ratio analysis, and capacity planning. Support annual and mid-year quota cycles with data-backed recommendations. Build scenario models that inform AOP planning and compensation design.

Bookings Validation & Data Integrity

Own bookings validation and reconciliation processes across CRM, CPQ, and Finance systems. Ensure accurate classification of new logo, renewal, and expansion bookings. Maintain controls that ensure attainment calculations and reporting outputs are reliable and audit-ready.

Revenue Operations Analytics

Support pipeline health analysis, attainment tracking, and plan-to-actual variance reporting. Identify structural drivers of over- and under-performance and provide data-backed recommendations to Commercial leadership.

Data Reporting and Visualization

Create clear, consumable dashboards and reports in Amazon Quicksight and Excel that deliver actionable insights to stakeholders across Sales, Finance, and RevOps. Develop reporting that simplifies complexity and supports confident decision-making.

Data Source Management

Work closely with Sales Operations, Enterprise Applications, and Finance teams to ensure integrity and alignment across commercial data systems.

  • Assist in managing multiple data sources and ensure proper integration and synchronization
  • Work with both structured and unstructured data while maintaining consistency and integrity
  • Utilize Git for tracking changes in forecasting models, scripts, or configuration files
  • Coordinate with data engineers or technical teams to ensure version control across databases, APIs, and reporting inputs

Execution of Cross-Functional Initiatives

Partner with cross-functional teams to implement improvements to forecasting processes, quota design, and planning rigor. Lead structured project sprints when necessary and measure impact of implemented optimizations.

Strategic Recommendations

Identify inefficiencies in sales planning processes, pipeline governance, and quota allocation. Develop data-driven recommendations that improve predictability, accountability, and performance.

Communication of Insights

Present structured, executive-ready summaries of forecast performance, quota design, and sales plan outcomes to Commercial and Finance leadership.

Requirements - Need to Haves

End-to-End Data Analysis

Extensive experience analyzing raw sales and bookings data, building forecasting and planning models, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.

Data Storytelling

Ability to clearly communicate forecast assumptions, risks, and planning insights in a compelling and structured way. Experience presenting findings to senior leadership required; experience presenting to executive teams or investors a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Fluency in Python and/or SQL (both preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills (modeling, scenario analysis, complex formulas)
  • Experience with Salesforce and sales pipeline mechanics
  • Experience with data visualization tools (PowerPoint required; Tableau, Power BI, or similar preferred)
  • Experience with Amazon Quicksight a plus

Systems & Version Control

  • Experience working across CRM, CPQ, Finance, and reporting systems
  • Familiarity with Git for managing scripts or model revisions
  • Ability to ensure data consistency across multiple systems and inputs

Collaboration & Adaptability

Ability to build strong working relationships across Sales, Finance, and RevOps while operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Curiosity

Demonstrated ability to ask thoughtful questions about forecast assumptions, pipeline drivers, and quota structures. Strong analytical mindset with a desire to understand root causes.

Organization

Comfortable managing multiple planning cycles, deadlines, and stakeholder requests simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications - Nice to Haves

  • 4+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue analytics, business strategy, or related fields
  • AI experience - familiarity with AI-driven forecasting tools or automation workflows
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and commercial success metrics
  • Experience in a SaaS environment
