Coordinates the testing, evaluating, & implementing of new equipment & continuous improvements into Wendy's restaurants. Supports multiple cross-functional RSC/Regional teams in developing, communicating, monitoring, and executing tactical plans for successful implementation of new equipment, systems, tools, processes, and procedures into the restaurants. Drives proactive improvements in employee and customer experiences that positively impact restaurant margins through an innovative mindset.

This role reports directly to VP of International Design and Construction.

Responsibilities

Manages and supports multiple projects through all phases, starting with discovery/innovation concept, and all the way through implementation/evaluation. Supports cross-functional team members to ensure successful testing, implementation, and integration of new kitchen equipment & processes into the system.

Develops and maintains quality deliverables, including detailed project plans, and status reports. Supports implementation planning and communication strategies with both corporate and field stakeholders. Responsibilities include developing functional requirements, installation instructions, training materials for KED's, and supporting operations to develop operating guides and hot sheets.

Administration of the Equipment Portal content including acquisition of documents from equipment vendors, development of equipment lists, assurance of format consistency, assignment of Item No's, and creation of packages.

Provides ongoing support to the equipment distributors, construction teams, franchise community, field leadership and operations on inquiries and opportunities for existing or new equipment opportunities or processes.

Completes all calendar management activities and executes all required weekly/monthly communication, while supervising and facilitating the development and execution of system conference calls and webinar meetings. Provides timely and appropriate updates to departmental leadership regarding project tasks, issues, milestones, and overall timing.



What we expect from you
Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering

1-3 years of experience in a design/manufacturing environment OR 3 years of related experience.

Strong business acumen, business maturity, organizing, planning, influence, visioning, constructive conflict skills.

Previous experience in the food service or related industry.

Strong project management skills. 1-3 years of experience managing long duration, multi-functional engineering related projects.

Successfully ideated, designed, tested, validated, & implemented at least one product or solution across a multi-faceted organization.

Natural capacity to quickly establish and build effective relationships across the organization.

Established influencing, consulting, and communication skills; has the ability to influence, engage, and motivate people.

Proficient in the use of a variety of software applications including CAD programs, MS Project, Excel.

Pay Range: $93,000.00 - $158,000.00 Annually
