About the Role:

The Senior Director of Human Resources will lead the strategic development and execution of comprehensive HR initiatives that align with the organization's overall business objectives. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive workplace culture, driving talent acquisition and retention strategies, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations across the United States. The Senior Director will collaborate closely with executive leadership to design and implement programs that enhance employee engagement, performance management, and leadership development. By leveraging data-driven insights, this position will continuously improve HR processes and policies to support organizational growth and operational excellence. Ultimately, the Senior Director will serve as a trusted advisor and change agent, championing diversity, equity, and inclusion while promoting a high-performance work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in human resources management, including leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing HR strategies that support business goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence at the executive level.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or an MBA.
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR.
  • Experience working in a large, complex, and matrixed organization.
  • Background in change management and organizational development.
  • Experience with HR technology platforms and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract and retain top talent across all levels of the organization.
  • Oversee employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Drive leadership development programs and succession planning to build organizational capability.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and equity.
  • Partner with senior leaders to support organizational change management and workforce planning.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout the company.
  • Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to deliver high-quality services and support.
