Job Description




As a Security Officer - Flex Driver Patrol Rounds in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist tenants, visitors, and staff with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, and/or property concerns, and notify site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, building interiors, docks and/or waterfront walkways, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related issues.
  • Monitor access points, check identification and/or credentials when required, manage visitor and contractor entry, and document deliveries and key or access card activity per site procedures.
  • Complete detailed written reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and property management using approved reporting systems.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
