Security Officer - Patrol Driver Courier

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Courier in FAIRFAX, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor assigned areas, perform routine driving and foot patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, environmental, and/or security-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required by site policy, and assist with visitor, vendor, and/or contractor access in accordance with location procedures.
• Support utility operations by observing restricted areas, noting suspicious behavior, and communicating disruptions, hazards, and/or policy violations that could impact personnel, property, or ongoing services.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
