Business Analyst, Senior

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support mission stakeholders in modernizing their data, cloud, and analytics environments. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor while delivering high-touch, white-glove support to users navigating complex platforms and workflows. You will engage directly with stakeholders to understand their needs, facilitate discussions, and translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and end users to provide training and enablement across cloud technologies, including Azure, Databricks, Power BI, and Azure Pipelines. Your responsibilities will include delivering technical training sessions, supporting adoption of cloud-native solutions, and guiding users through best practices in data engineering and analytics.

In collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders, you will also support components of cloud migration efforts, preferably within Azure, ensuring smooth transitions and a well-supported user experience. By leveraging strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a customer-first mindset, you will proactively resolve issues, build trust, and enhance overall client success in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in an IT role supporting enterprise users and technical environments

  • Experience with Azure data and analytics technologies, including Azure Databricks, Power BI, or Azure Pipelines

  • Experience with white-glove and high-tech or high-touch support capabilities

  • Knowledge of cloud migration practices

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience facilitating meetings, gathering requirements, and engaging stakeholders effectively

  • Experience delivering technical training, including cloud migration training and user enablement

  • Experience developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), quick reference guides, and training materials

  • Experience with analytic tools to measure article performance, deflection rates, and usage metrics

  • Experience analyzing ticket trends and proposing knowledge gaps or process improvement

  • Knowledge of cloud migration practices within a Microsoft Azure environment

  • Ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences

  • Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams

  • Possession of excellent communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
