The Specialty Rolled Products division of ATI is seeking to hire a Financial Analyst to support the financial trend analysis and product cost reviews of the operating facilities. This position will be based at our Natrona Heights, PA office.

The Financial analyst will help steer the profitability of the business by supporting manufacturing, sales, and management with valuable financial information to help guide business decisions and reduce costs.

Essential Functions




  • Participation in preparation of the annual business plan and operating department budgets.
  • Prepare monthly reports to upper management on sales, cost, profitability, etc., by product line.
  • Forecast plant expense and review monthly spending variances.
  • Analyze major capital projects, costs, and report on ROI.
  • Prepare cost estimates for new or existing product lines in conjunction with Marketing and Technical personnel.
  • Streamlining and simplification of the internal reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with Internal and External Audit on key deliverables.
  • Perform quarterly and annual inventories.
  • Assist in the monthly accounting close cycle.
  • Ability to handle and manage multiple assignments as well as special projects as needed.
  • Reviewing inventory costing for accuracy and precision

Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.


Preferred Qualifications



  • At least 3 years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
  • Knowledge of operations and/or experience in a manufacturing environment highly preferred.
  • Experience in the metals industry.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities



  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills required in dealing with both internal and external customers.
  • Strong analytical capability and business acumen with the ability to format data and presentations to support needs of different levels of the organization.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle or equivalent ERP system preferred
