About the Role



  • Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Parts Clerk locates and delivers spare parts, tools, and plant supplies to maintain continuity of plant operations. The Parts Clerk is responsible for the accurate recording and maintenance of inventories in the department in accordance with company policies and procedures.


What We're Looking For:

A reliable, self-starting team player who takes pride in doing things right the first time.



  • Quickly locate and deliver spare parts, tools, and supplies to maintenance personnel.
  • Perform daily inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate and sufficient.
  • Replenish inventory by ordering parts and supplies, and notify the Maintenance Manager of highcost items.
  • Keep the parts room organized, clean, and easy to navigate.
  • Pick up and deliver parts from vendors when needed.
  • Create purchase orders and help set up new vendors, always keeping cost efficiency in mind.
  • Assist with setting up new equipment and preventative maintenance work orders.
  • Print, distribute, and process scheduled preventative maintenance work orders.
  • Enter completed work orders into the computerized system, including parts used, labor hours, and work performed.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, purchase orders, and documentation.
  • Communicate clearly with plant staff about the status of requested parts and supplies.
  • Follow all safety, housekeeping, and work rules.
  • Support and enforce all WisPak food safety policies and ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate.



What You'll Bring:

We're looking for someone who is organized, reliable, and ready to support a fastmoving maintenance team. Here's what will help you succeed:



  • High school diploma (or equivalent) plus 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, memos, purchase orders, and standard documentation.
  • Strong communication skills for working with vendors and team members.
  • Solid math skills, including working with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to follow detailed written or verbal instructions.
  • Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read machine drawings to identify parts.
  • Comfortable using computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and JDE.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. The company will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future
  • Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
