SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

Deliver personalized investment advice to assist clients in aligning their financial status, objectives, risk tolerances, and tax exposure.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Use expertise and knowledge to advise clients and prospective clients with a focus on analyzing objectives and risk tolerance to determine which financial strategies and solutions best meet the client's needs.
  • Advise clients on the advantages and disadvantages of various investment opportunities and products based on knowledge of market conditions and the client's particular circumstances.
  • Develop and implement financial plans to help clients achieve their financial objectives.
  • Establish strong partnerships with Wealth and Commercial teams and other internal business partners to uncover and ensure unmet client financial needs are fulfilled.
  • Engage in promotion and business development activities, including the marketing, servicing and promotion of financial services and products.
  • Meet regularly with clients to review their financial objectives and make recommendations and adjustments to their investments and savings strategies, as necessary.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and referral partners.
  • Generate new business through networking and referrals.

COMPETENCIES

  • Proficiency in PC Navigator, LPL ClientWorks, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of financial and investment vehicles in the market and the possible consequences to the client of particular investment strategies.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to professionalism, integrity and ethical conduct in all aspects of work.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • College Degree Required.
  • Five to seven years previous investment services experience preferred.
  • FINRA licenses 6, 66, and 7 required.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES

New team member orientation, annual compliance training, and continuing education for applicable licenses.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports. This position requires a significant amount of computer time, either sitting or standing.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is in a private office.

All telecommuting team member, regardless if hybrid or fully remote, must maintain a secure home office environment, free from background noise and distractions and have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change.

TRAVEL

Travel may be required to attend meetings.
