Description: Title: Operations Excellence Manager (Growth and Go-To-Market) Reports to:Vice President, Operations Excellence Department/Location:Operations / Remote FLSA Status: Exempt Summary: Reporting to the Vice President of Operations Excellence, this role will be a key driver of Guidelight's growth and operational excellence across our clinic footprint. This leader will help shape and execute strategies that support both successful entry into new states and markets and strong day-to-day performance across existing locations, ensuring we scale in a way that is sustainable, consistent, and commercially effective. With a highly analytical and strategic mindset, this individual will identify opportunities to improve utilization, increase revenue, and enhance the patient experience, while building scalable frameworks that underpin multi-state expansion. They will partner closely with clinical, development, IT, talent, and market leaders to ensure alignment between operational execution and broader business objectives. Responsibilities:
- Operational Expansion & Market Entry:
- Lead end-to-end operational readiness for entry into new states and markets, coordinating across clinical, legal, compliance, IT, and talent to ensure each new location opens on schedule and ramps efficiently.
- Develop andmaintainmarket entry playbooks that capture learnings,establishrepeatable processes, and accelerate ramp timelines as the organization scales geographically.
- Identifyand proactively address regulatory, operational, or infrastructure requirements unique to each new state, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance at launch.
- Partner with leadership to define and execute strategies that drive successful market penetration and accelerate clinic performance post-launch.
- Growth & Go-To-Market Support:
- Support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new and existing markets, including identifying referral growth opportunities, patient acquisition strategies, and market positioning priorities.
- Align operational resources, workflows, and cross-functional initiatives to support top-line growth and market-level performance targets.
- Partner with market-facing and clinical teams to ensure operational infrastructure supports strong commercial outcomes at each location.
- Process Improvement and Operational Excellence:
- Identifyand implement processes to streamline operations, improve communication, and enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Create and drive standards of excellence in care delivery with client experience and clinical quality as the North Star.
- Roll up your sleeves and dive into the weeds when needed, taking on key projects with a get-it-done attitude and tackling challenges head-on to ensure progress and results.
- Use data-driven insights to support decisions on resource allocation, process optimization, and strategic initiatives, ensuring measurable outcomes.
- Performance Optimization:
- Own and track key business metrics (e.g., census,utilization, revenue per clinic),identifyingtrends and opportunities to improve performance across the clinic portfolio.
- Translate data into actionable insights that drive measurable improvements in growth, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
- Partner with clinic and functional leaders to implement initiatives that increase throughput, retention, and overall clinic performance.
- Strategic Execution:
- Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that directly support company growth, expansion, and operational excellence priorities.
- Ensure strong execution against expansion plans,maintainingurgency, accountability, and visibility into progress and outcomes.
- Navigate ambiguity and build scalable approaches that support a rapidly evolving, multi-market and multi-state organization.
- Change Management:
- Drive change initiatives by gaining teammate-wide buy-in across new implementations, fostering cross-departmental collaboration and alignment to drive shared goals and smooth change adoption.
- Monitor the impact of change efforts, adjusting as needed to achieve desiredoutcomesand sustain momentum.
- Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Collaborate closely with growth, clinical, and operations leaders to align on priorities that drive both patient impact and business performance.
- Act as connective tissue across teams, ensuring initiatives are well-coordinated and driving toward shared goals.
- Influence decision-making by bringing a strong point of view grounded in data and market dynamics.
- Scalability & Infrastructure:
- Build and refine frameworks that enable consistent, repeatable success as the organization expands into new geographies and scales its clinic footprint.
- Identifyand address bottlenecks that may limit growth or expansion, proactively solving for scale before they become barriers.
- Support the development of operational playbooks that ensure new and existing clinics can achieve strong, sustainable performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business ora relatedfield.
- 3-6 years of experience in healthcare operations, project management, special projects,orotherrelevantrole.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data,identifytrends, and implement process changes based on insights.
- Highly detail oriented, with proven experience managing multiple complex projects at one time.
- Highly motivated, organized, self-starter, and comfortableworking in high growth environments.
- Experience and knowledge of project management platforms and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience within a high-growth healthcare provider organization, ideally within behavioral health.
- PMP certification.
