Machinist

Thermach, LLC is a manufacturer of thermal spray equipment. We are located in Appleton, Wisconsin, and are experiencing rapid growth due to our success in the industry. Our company grew its name through a strong customer focus and high-quality systems that set us apart from our competitors.

We are looking to hire a versatile manual machinist with the ability to run multiple machines. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the desire to learn. This role will lead them to become well-versed in the machining field.

Hours - Flexible 8 hour shift between 6:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, no weekends!

Job Duties

• * Program, set-up, and run production on Mazak Turning Center and/or Mazak Vertical Mills.
• * Ability to operate manual mills and lathes for secondary operations
• * Manual machining: set-up, running production, and short op times with frequent changeovers
• * Future training on Mazak CNCs possible
• * Monitor and inspect finish quality
• * Maintain and clean machines
• * Follow and enforce safe practices
• * Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• * Completion of a two-year Machine Tool Operator or equivalent experience
• * Proficient with measuring tools
• * Ability to read and interpret drawings
• * Manual Mills and Lathes
• * Lift up to 25 lbs.

Desired Qualifications

• Mazak Machine operation
• Mazak conversational programming experience - we will train for the right candidate
• Brazing and soldering capabilities
