We are seeking a skilled and driven Plastics Process Engineer to join our team and support continuous improvement, new product development, and optimized manufacturing processes.
Position Overview:
The Plastics Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, sampling, improving, and troubleshooting plastic injection molding and other plastic manufacturing processes. This role works closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure efficient operations, superior product quality, and cost-effective manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process Development: Create, optimize, and document robust molding processes for both new product launches and existing high-volume runs.
- Troubleshooting & Efficiency: Lead root-cause analysis for production issues to minimize downtime and maximize cycle efficiency.
- Validation Excellence: Direct process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ) and capability studies to ensure strict compliance with medical standards.
- Tooling Collaboration: Partner with maintenance and design teams to refine mold designs and implement continuous improvements.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and enhance manufacturing cost-effectiveness.
- Mentorship: Train and support operators and technicians on best-in-class processing and quality procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Associate degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience also considered).
- Experience: 3+ years in plastics processing, specifically focused on injection molding.
- Technical Expertise: Strong mastery of polymer materials, mold design, and processing equipment.
- Preferred Skills: Hands-on experience with Scientific Molding techniques is highly preferred.
- Mindset: Exceptional analytical skills and a "team-first" approach to problem-solving.
