Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Shift: (1st Shift | 6 AM - 2:30 PM) (2nd Shift | 3 PM - 11:30 PM) Monday - Friday + Some Saturdays

What It Takes to Inspect With Us

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience
• Manufacturing background
• Able to lift 50 lbs. + steel-toe boots
• Able to read and interpret document
• Basic math skills

Doing The Shift Right

• Reads blueprints or engineering specifications to obtain product information such as specified material, surface finish, and dimensions.
• Compares the surface finish of the workpiece to the finish on a set of standard blocks, making a fingertip touch comparison to ensure production of the specified surface finish.
• Measures dimensions such as length, height, and distance between reference points to ensure the product meets standards.
• Locates reference point on part and measures dimensions such as angle and arc.
• Reports findings to the Inspection Supervisor and, if necessary, writes an Inspection Deviation Report (IDR) if parts are not in conformance.
• Sets up and tries out inspection equipment to ensure substitutes known values, such as dimensions from blueprints, into standard formulas and solves for unknown quantities to determine dimensions not specified in blueprints.
• Sets up portable CMM and related.
• Uses forklifts and cranes to move heavy.
