These are the qualifications that matter.

• 3+ years of hands-on EDI experience in a warehouse setting
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field-or equivalent experience
• Proficiency with EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTP, VAN)
• Experience with EDI mapping and translation software
• Experience with WMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Infor)
• Strong SQL skills required; PostgreSQL preferred
• Familiarity with APIs or hybrid EDI/API integrations
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate across teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Team-oriented, proactive, and solutions-driven mindset
• Python and/or JavaScript experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support daily EDI transaction flows (e.g., 850, 810, 856, 940, 997), resolving processing errors and failures
• Troubleshoot EDI issues and coordinate resolutions with internal teams and external trading partners
• Serve as a liaison between business units, IT, and partners to ensure smooth EDI operations
• Provide Tier I support for EDI-related inquiries, incidents, and system issues
• Ensure compliance with EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, HIPAA, where applicable)
• Maintain and support EDI integrations, including mapping, translation, and communication protocols
• Assist with data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting using SQL and related tools
• Support continuous improvement of EDI processes and system performance
