The Operations Supervisor (M1) is responsible for coordinating and supervising daytoday operations within a highvolume pharmacy fulfillment environment. This role ensures staffing, workflow, productivity, safety, and quality expectations are met while adhering to established procedures and regulatory requirements.

Reporting to an Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor provides frontline leadership to pharmacy operations staff, monitors performance, resolves operational issues, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The role has a direct impact on shiftlevel execution and shortterm operational goals.

Hours:

  • Predominantly second shift (2p-10:30p) but must be open to flexible hours and rotating Saturdays.
  • Sundays and Mondays 8:00AM start to 4:30PM or finish.
  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays 2:00PM-10:30PM
  • Thursdays 8:00AM- 4:30PM

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Supervise daily pharmacy operations, including staffing assignments, intraday staffing adjustments, and production flow
  • Provide work direction, assign priorities, resolve routine operational issues, and ensure timely completion of work
  • Monitor productivity, efficiency, and quality metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Review operational reports and collaborate with Operations Management, Inventory, Facilities, and Transportation teams
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety programs, and regulatory requirements
  • Support and maintain SOPs, training materials, and required compliance documentation
  • Participate in onboarding, training, coaching, and performance feedback for operations staff
  • Support quarterly performance objectives at the team and individual level
  • Lead and promote a safetyfirst culture and uphold 5S/housekeeping standards
  • Complete incident reviews, root cause analysis, and corrective actions as needed
  • Coordinate vendor support and assist with troubleshooting operational system issues
  • Occasionally assist with operational tasks (e.g., training support) as business needs require

Basic Requirements

(Aligned to Career Framework - Minimum Education & Typical Experience or Equivalent Combination)
These must be clearly visible on a resume:

  • 3+ years of relevant operations experience, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory responsibility
  • Experience coordinating work activities in a production, distribution, pharmacy, or operations environment
  • Experience reviewing operational reports, metrics, or performance data

Preferred Skills / Experience

  • 4year degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in pharmacy operations, healthcare distribution, logistics, automation, warehouse, or manufacturing environments
  • Experience interviewing, coaching, scheduling, and performance documentation
  • Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., pharmacy, FDAregulated, ISO)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems
  • Experience supporting training programs and SOP documentation

Work Environment, Travel & Physical Requirements

  • Onsite role in a highvolume pharmacy or distribution environment
  • Predominantly second shift with flexibility for schedule changes and overtime
  • Occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds
  • Extended periods of standing or walking (8+ hours per shift)
  • Occasional time working within the operational area to support business needs
  • No regular travel required

$57,400 - $95,600
