Sr Manager, IKC Clinical Programs

Davita Inc.
paid time off, 401(k)
United States, Colorado, Denver
Apr 03, 2026

Posting Date

04/03/2026 2000 16th Street, Denver, Colorado, 80202, United States of America

The Senior Manager, Clinical Programs, will play a key role in helping DaVita transition and stabilize its CKD Medicare Advantage model of care as it moves from launch into run state. This teammate will work across clinical transformation, operations, patient engagement, reporting, and functional role leads to help translate a new care model into a durable operating model.

This role is best suited for a strong healthcare operator who is comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at turning fragmented work into clear decisions, action plans, and management mechanisms. The person in this seat will help create visibility into what is operational, what is still maturing, where risks sit, and what needs to be resolved to support performance in year 1.

The successful candidate will bring strong cross-functional leadership, disciplined follow-through, and the ability to synthesize complex clinical and operational issues into practical recommendations for senior leadership.

What you will do

  • Lead cross-functional transition and readiness work as the CKD MA care model moves from launch into run state

  • Build and maintain visibility into workflow maturity, open decisions, key dependencies, ownership gaps, and operational risks

  • Drive structured follow-up across workstreams to ensure issues are resolved, handoffs are explicit, and decisions are documented

  • Partner with operators, role leads, patient engagement, reporting, and clinical teams to translate care model design into workable day-to-day operations

  • Support workflow walkthroughs and readiness reviews across key areas, including stratification, patient engagement, assessment, clinical gap closure, provider engagement, utilization management, and reporting

  • Help identify where the model requires temporary support post-launch and define stabilization plans for the first 60-90 days

  • Establish and manage core execution tools such as risk logs, action trackers, decision logs, and readiness summaries

  • Synthesize clinical, operational, and reporting inputs into clear recommendations and leadership-ready updates

  • Help shape the run-state management cadence for how issues, performance gaps, and cross-functional dependencies are surfaced and addressed

  • Directly manage at least one analyst and support strong work quality, prioritization, and development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare program management, clinical operations, care model implementation, value-based care operations, or related fields

  • Strong experience leading complex cross-functional work in a matrixed healthcare environment

  • Experience working with clinical teams, care management teams, provider organizations, or operators

  • Demonstrated ability to move work from design into implementation and stabilize execution in ambiguous environments

  • Experience building management processes for execution, including risk tracking, issue resolution, dependency management, and stakeholder follow-through

  • Direct people management experience preferred

  • Experience in Medicare Advantage, population health, chronic condition management, or value-based care strongly preferred

  • Exposure to kidney care, nephrology, renal, or high-risk chronic disease models is a plus

What will make someone successful in this role

  • Strong ownership and follow-through

  • Excellent judgment on what to escalate, what to solve directly, and what to sequence over time

  • Clear written and verbal communication

  • Strong executive synthesis and ability to create concise, leadership-ready updates

  • Comfort managing multiple workstreams without losing rigor

  • Ability to influence across functions without formal authority

  • Practical, low-ego approach to collaboration and execution

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

Why this role

This is an opportunity to help shape the operating discipline behind a high-priority value-based care program.
