Checker/Loader Fort Myers, FL Pay: $17.00 per hour 26-03324 Job Summary The Checker/Loader is an entry-level role within the distribution team. This position supports front-line distribution operations by handling product movement, order fulfillment, and truck loading/unloading while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards. Job Responsibilities Move, stack, and handle product trays and materials throughout the distribution process Pick and fill orders using pick-to-light systems or voice-activated equipment Load and unload delivery trucks accurately and efficiently Ensure orders are properly prepared and assigned to delivery routes Follow all food safety and food quality procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory and audit standards Identify and report any food safety or quality concerns and take appropriate corrective action Support adherence to Food Safety Plans, Food Quality Plans, and SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment Job Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as stacking, pushing, and pulling product Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Basic understanding of safety and quality practices (training provided) Willingness to follow detailed procedures and compliance standards Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required Work Experience Entry-level position; prior warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required Additional Job Details Position requires standing, walking, and repetitive physical activity for extended periods May involve early morning, evening, weekend, or holiday shifts depending on operational needs #ZR
