Description Acara Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our client on a Temp-to-Hire opportunity available in Littleton, CO 80127. Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Schedule: 40 hours/week Pay Rate: $27.00-$35.00/hour Industry: Defense & Space Manufacturing About the Opportunity: We are seeking a full-time Assembly Technician to support spacecraft hardware builds, component and assembly testing, and environmental testing campaigns. This role offers the opportunity to grow within a team focused on space systems and high-reliability manufacturing. What You'll Do: Follow step-by-step work instructions to build mechanical assemblies and document processes Assemble components and integrate onto spacecraft hardware Operate torque wrenches and similar tools to meet product specifications Install sensors such as thermistors and accelerometers Support propulsion module and spacecraft-level testing activities Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics in collaboration with engineering teams Maintain accurate documentation throughout the assembly process Perform other duties as assigned Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of experience using hand tools 1+ years of experience performing visual inspections (IPI) 1+ years of experience in an AS9100 manufacturing environment Ability to read and follow drawings and written instructions Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment Experience with fabrication and testing Experience working in a cleanroom environment After you apply, you may receive a call or message from our AI Talent Scout about this role or other opportunities that match your skills and preferences.
