The Program Manager, Emergency Fuel Solutions is responsible for driving Mansfield's business development and operational execution for the Emergency Response service offering. This individual will be responsible for managing and expanding our network of emergency response partners, overseeing the logistics and operations of all emergency deployments, and ensuring seamless contract management and financial reconciliation post-deployment. This position requires a blend of strategic business development, operational leadership, and hands-on execution, ensuring that Mansfield's Emergency Response program and specialty product lines continue to grow, operate efficiently, and deliver value to our customers. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Partner Network Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers, ensuring alignment on service expectations and performance.
- Work closely with internal teams (Supply, LTL Procurement, Carrier Relations, and Operations) to create a comprehensive support network for emergency response.
Logistics & Emergency Response Operations
- Oversee the execution of emergency response deployments, ensuring rapid, efficient, and cost-effective service delivery.
- Refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for managing emergency response activations and ensure smooth coordination among all stakeholders.
- Monitor real-time deployment logistics, troubleshooting any issues that arise and optimizing response efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements in emergency response operations.
Contract & Financial Management
- Manage the logistics of buy/sell contracts with both vendors and customers, ensuring clear terms and conditions that protect Mansfield's interests.
- Work closely with the billing and accounts payable teams to ensure prompt and accurate payments to vendors.
- Maintain a centralized financial tracking system for all emergency response activities, ensuring complete visibility into program profitability.
CRM & Reporting
- Monitor and manage the CRM system, ensuring all emergency response opportunities and contracts are accurately tracked.
- Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased profitability.
Prospecting & Sales
- Understand customer needs and requirements, discuss current Mansfield Oil solutions and product offerings, to effectively utilize these offerings to fully serve our customers and improve our position within our customer base.
- Prepare sales proposal by quoting pricing, credit terms, and service offerings to customer based on knowledge of company's operational capacity and established ROI thresholds.
Marketing & Value Proposition
- Create and maintain marketing materials specific to the product line and distribute to the sales teams.
- Ensure calculators for ROI and opportunity cost are maintained and available to the sales team and our prospects.
- Continuously refine and improve program offerings based on market feedback and performance data.
Position Requirements Education & Certification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- A working knowledge of fuel logistics, distribution, and specialty product lines (Fleet Cards, Fuel-All, LTL, etc.) required.
- Experience in operations, logistics, or emergency response management preferred.
- Prior experience in customer service, sales, or account management is also preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong logistics and operations management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, finance, and operations teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment & Expectations
- 40-hour work week, with on-call availability for emergency deployments as needed.
- Up to 25% travel may be required to meet with vendors, oversee deployments, attend industry events, and give presentations to prospects/customers. There is a potential for clustered travel surrounding hurricane season.
- Three days in office, two days work from home option weekly once training is complete.
