Overview

Allspring Global Investments is looking for a Distribution & Marketing Technology Senior Manager to join our Engineering and Technology team. This role combines strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise to drive innovation and implement Allspring's Distribution and marketing technology solutions. This individual will lead a small team of Application Strategists (business analysts) that interact with our business partners on a daily basis. They will play a key role in developing a Distribution and Marketing platform, including Salesforce products and other SaaS solutions for internal collaboration, data, analytics and reporting. This is an outstanding opportunity to shape the future of our technology strategy to support Allspring's Distribution & Marketing teams.

We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

Overall

    Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Lead, motivate, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including delegating tasks effectively, providing guidance and support, and fostering a collaborative working environment including with collaboration with the business and technical leads to resolve complex challenges and drive innovation.
  • Engage with stakeholders, partners, and internal teams to comprehend requirements, prioritize initiatives, and align them with organizational goals.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the Distribution and Marketing Technology Teams, encouraging a culture of teamwork, excellence, and continuous learning.
  • Manage the Distribution and Marketing Application Strategists, ensuring their work is align with business goals, optimize resource utilization and allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity and monitor team workload and capacity, adjusting assignments as needed to maintain project momentum.

Sales Enablement/Marketing Technology Strategy

  • Work with the Distribution and Marketing Teams on developing and enhancing the available technology that equips our sales teams with the knowledge, skills and tools they need to drive revenue growth and retain existing business
  • Manage and optimize the available sales enablement technology stack (e.g., Salesforce, Seismic, and other enablement tools)
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve sales enablement technology that aligns with the company's goals and sales objectives. This includes assessing needs, creating and implementing training programs, and establishing metrics to measure success.
  • Partner with Allspring's AI Product Manager and AI Technical Lead to develop an AI roadmap for Distribution and Marketing that aligns with the business's goals and the firm's broader AI strategy.

Business Intelligence Strategy

  • Work with the BI team to develop and implement a comprehensive BI strategy that aligns with the organization's goals, identifying opportunities for data-driven improvements and creating long-term roadmaps for BI capabilities.
  • Manage and optimize the available BI tools/technology (e.g., Tableau, CRMA, and other BI tools)

Distribution Data Strategy

  • Partner with our Distribution, MarComm and Corporate Data Team to design and implementation of a more modern firm data structure and associated processes.
  • Support our data management approach and align it with the wider organizational strategy.
  • Provide in depth perspective with regards to how the combined datasets can power a data driven client facing team in their mission to deliver a best-in-class client experience
  • Coordinate across the organization to support our data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality.
  • Work with Marketing on the development of the marketing data environment and marketing analytics to measure the effectiveness of our marketing efforts including a Client Data Platform (CDP).


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Salesforce platform development, implementation, and administration.
  • Proven track record of effectively leading large-scale Salesforce initiatives from concept to delivery.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, capabilities, and ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Tableau Server, CRM Analytics, and Data Cloud.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical partners.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified System Architect preferred.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering innovative solutions that drive business value.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some experience with Optimizely or a similar Digital Experience platform.
  • Demonstrable experience working effectively in a heavily distributed environment.
  • Experience with the asset management industry.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $200,000 - $225,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non-annual incentive or sales plans.)
