Job Description:

We are seeking an Airtable Solutions Architect to build and manage our marketing operations infrastructure. This role combines deep technical expertise in Airtable with strategic program management to design, implement, and optimize solutions that power our marketing workflows from end to end. You will support the architecture of an entire Airtable ecosystem-building custom bases, interfaces, automations, and integrations-while also executing on the roadmap and driving adoption across marketing teams. The ideal candidate is an Airtable specialist who stays current with the platform's evolving capabilities, including AI features, and can translate marketing operations needs into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Airtable Architecture & Development
    • Design and build enterprise-grade Airtable bases with complex relational structures, advanced formulas, and optimized data models.
    • Develop custom interfaces from concept to deployment for campaign planning, creative production, asset management, resource allocation, budget reporting.
    • Manage API integrations connecting Airtable to DAMs, creative tools, analytics platforms, and project management systems.
    • Develop automated reporting workflows that generate and distribute insights to stakeholders.
    • Leverage Airtable AI features and stay current with new capabilities to enhance automation and intelligence.
  • Automation & Integration
    • Create sophisticated automation workflows using native automations, custom scripts, webhooks, and third-party platforms (Slack, etc). to extend platform functionality.
    • Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring for automated workflows.
    • Integrate Airtable with existing marketing technology stack where possible to eliminate manual work.
  • Program Strategy & Infrastructure Management
    • Partner with marketing leadership to design an Airtable integration roadmap covering the full campaign lifecycle.
    • Conduct workflow assessments to identify automation opportunities and efficiency gains.
    • Serve as technical owner of the entire Airtable infrastructure, managing architecture, permissions, and system health.
    • Establish governance frameworks for data management, naming conventions, and development standards.
    • Define success metrics and KPIs for operational efficiency, campaign velocity, and system adoption.
  • Change Management & Training
    • Create technical documentation for all bases, automations, integrations, and custom scripts.
    • Develop training materials and lead training to drive adoption across marketing teams.
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex user issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work with teams to translate operational needs into technical requirements.
    • Collaborate with IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet security and governance standards.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience building Airtable solutions in complex operational environments with program management or marketing operations experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Airtable including advanced formulas, scripting block, automations, API, interfaces, and extensions.
  • Proven experience building custom Airtable interfaces from end to end with strong UX/UI design sensibility.
  • Strong preference for candidates with backgrounds in sports, entertainment, media, or marketing industries.
  • Deep understanding of marketing workflows including campaign planning, creative production, and asset management.
  • Proficiency with automation platforms and ability to build complex multi-step workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to architect scalable technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience in change management.

Preferred:

  • Airtable certification or demonstrated thought leadership in the Airtable community.
  • Strong coding skills with JavaScript for Airtable scripting; familiarity with Python or other languages for API development is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of Airtable's AI features and ability to implement AI-enhanced workflows.
  • Experience with other no-code/low-code platforms.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology platforms (DAMs, project management tools, creative software).
  • Background in technical product management.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and business intelligence platforms.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and experience implementing AI-powered workflows.
  • Experience in high-volume campaign production environments.
