You will work with recruiters and managers within the Experienced Professional hiring team to ensure a strong pipeline of highly skilled, qualified and motivated people are available to join the firm. You will develop and deliver high quality, full cycle, recruitment practices which embody our values and create exceptional hiring journeys for candidates and hiring teams.
You will help candidates understand the unique value proposition of joining McKinsey and provide end-to-end management of candidates in your pipeline; this includes intake conversations with hiring managers, candidate generation via application review, direct sourcing and referrals, assessment through to offer creation and cultivation.
Your ability to attract and develop pipeline of candidates through compelling messaging with keen understanding of competitive landscape will be vital. You will manage cultivation and integration of hires into the firm and participate in recruiting-related projects when needed (e.g. recruiting system design, reporting, assessment).
You will work closely with the recruiting team to plan, coordinate and execute all stages of the recruitment process (from interview days, to events, to cultivation) to contribute to the development of our recruiting strategy. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity and a willingness to innovate and go the extra mile to deliver fully diverse hiring.
You will be based in Chicago, Tampa, Boston, Philadelphia or San Francisco as part of our Experienced Professional Recruiting function. Your team supports hiring needs from industry inbound to all US locations for client facing and non-client facing positions across several industry and functional areas.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 5+ years of end-to-end recruiting experience working closely with all levels of a business and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to build great relationships with candidates, consultants and recruiting colleagues at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to influence and direct colleagues, and manage the needs of different stakeholders, including senior leaders
  • Demonstrated initiative, judgment and maturity; track record as self-starter; mindful of external reputation; discreet, respectful and caring with confidential information
  • Proactive problem solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions; desire and energy to continuously improve recruiting processes
  • Ability to lead creative direct sourcing strategies
  • Strong analytical ability, including high degree of comfort with Excel & PowerPoint
  • Exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment
  • Ability to work in-person and travel as needed (team schedules and office locations may vary)
  • Ability to operate office equipment and handle transportation of materials or objects, when required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels

    to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current

    and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
