We are currently searching for our next Benefit Administrator to lead the benefits department. In this vital role, the selected candidate will work with senior leaders to offer a benefits program that has a direct impact on staff satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage a benefits program that offers health, prescription, dental, 401k, FSA, and several voluntary insurance products
  • Oversee FMLA and various leave of absent policies
  • Supervise a benefit assistant
  • Manage the benefit module within the HRIS
  • Collaborate with vendors and benefit consultants
  • Oversee COBRA administration
  • Making benefit presentations to employees individually and in groups.
  • Promoting and communicating employee benefits, including plan changes and open enrollments.
  • Assist HR leadership team with developing policies related to benefits and leave policies for new markets
  • Monitor regulations related to benefits and leave programs in all markets and make recommendations
  • Be an active member of the HR leadership team

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Verbal and written communications skills
  • Moderate to excellent computer skills
  • Proper phone etiquette
  • Must have demonstrate the ability to work independently and as a group member
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency with the benefit module within Paylocity is preferred
  • Work on site at the corporate office in Fort Wayne, IN
