We're searching for a Camp Lead who, in partnership with the Area Manager, leads summer camp day to day by building collaborative relationships, and ensuring joy for each and every camper. WHAT THIS ROLE ENTAILS: Before Summer Camp * In partnership with the Area Manager: You will start planning summer camp beginning in the spring. Partner with program managers at all summer camp feeder schools with marketing and communication to district families. Send the welcome letter and all necessary paperwork before and after each week of camp. Ensure all paperwork is on file for each camper before day one. Lead Summer Camp live training * Join and/or review all summer camp training calls starting in April. During Summer Camp Act as the day to day manager for summer camp staff. Create a working environment where all staff feel heard and take responsibility for different parts of the day. Coordinate curriculum ordering and daily activities. Ensure program quality meets Right At School standards Delivering quality Summer camp programs for children using the internally crafted curriculum. Create groups in camp that follow the daily flow and camp components.. Manage and maintain safety standards. Ensure that all camper paperwork including but not limited to Right At School waivers and child care licensing paperwork is completed. The point person for families. The point person for all mystery guests. Work closely with school partners staff to ensure access to indoor and outdoor space needed during the summer. POSITION DETAILS: Start Date: This position will have a start date in May that will include in person training and live training. The position will run through the duration of summer camp. Exact hours will be discussed in the interview process. Please note: We have part time opportunities to work through the school year as well. This can also be discussed in the interview process if interested. Location : The position will begin at Adeline Montessori School's current campus in Oconomowac. PLEASE NOTE: The position will transition to Adeline's new campus in Waukesha when completed. This is estimated to be in June. Candidates should be comfortable to commuting to both the current campus and the new location once the transition has been completed. Schedule: This will be discussed in the interview process in more detail. The position will be Monday-Friday between the hours of 7AM-6PM Pay Range: $20-25/hour depending on education and experience REQUIREMENTS: THE RIGHT FIT FOR THIS ROLE: 21 years old or older At least 240 hours of experience as a teacher or an assistance teacher in a group childcare setting OR at least 240 hours of experience as a licensee or provider of a family childcare center AND one of the following: 2 non-credit department approved courses in early childhood education 2 courses for credit in early childhood education 48 credits from an institution of higher education with at least 3 credits in early childhood education Certificate from the WI Registry indicating level 12 or higher Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education License from the WI Dept. of Public Instruction to act as a Kindergarten, Pre-Kindergarten or Early Childhood teacher Here at Right At School, our commitment to equal opportunity runs deep.
