Position Title: Training Specialist Business Unit: Human Resources Reports to: Manager of Training Position Overview: This position is primarily responsible for facilitating professional and technical skills training for FNB employees utilizing various learning mediums and methods. Possibly facilitate more advanced soft skill courses, such as professional development and leadership. Supports Learning Programs on initiatives and projects. Partners with lines of business to provide feedback and coaching. The incumbent is able to work in a rapid pace of organizational and technological change. The incumbent provides the highest quality of customer service to internal and external partners. Primary Responsibilities: Facilitates Instructor Led Training and Virtual Instructor Led Training for new and existing FNB employees on professional and technical (including procedures) skills at primary and other training sites. Possibly facilitate leadership and advanced professional skills. Actively stays current on all training content and processes. Takes responsibility for personal development in L&D skills. Evaluates and assists in measuring training effectiveness. Analyzes training feedback to assess future development needs. Identifies updates in Facilitator Guides and Participant Materials. Works closely with the Instructional Designer and Developer as a subject matter expert and resource to update and create training materials. Supports project manager on assigned projects and specific tasks. Partners with project manager to identify training needs, evaluates and recommends learning solutions. Takes the lead on selected projects by delegating tasks, presenting recommendations and making deadlines in addition to completing project tasks as assigned by project manager. Utilizes Learning Center to enter, track, complete and coordinate administrative functions necessary to deliver and document attendance for all training. Responsible for assigned training center. Creates training schedules when needed. Assists in the preparation and development of the training budget. Provides support in the planning and implementation of large training events. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned. FNB system knowledge preferred. Typically up to 25% overnight travel required, could be more during company-wide initiatives.
