Overview

The Gilbane Development Company is hiring a Marketing Specialist - Real Estate Development, to support the planning and execution of project-specific marketing and community engagement initiatives across Gilbane Development's new developments. The role supports new development projects from predevelopment through construction and leaseup. The role will report to Gilbane Development's vice president of marketing but will work very closely with marketing directors and developers across vertical business lines.



Responsibilities

Project & Portfolio Marketing Management

    Develop and maintain marketing schedules for multiple development projects, working with marketing directors, development directors and project joint venture partners as necessary.
  • Coordinate marketing deliverables across pre-development, construction, and lease-up phases, and beyond as may be necessary.
  • Manage vendors, schedules, and marketing budgets in coordination with development teams.
  • Serve as the daytoday marketing contact for assigned projects.
  • Standardize processes and vendors to ensure best practices and best-in-class marketing practices are applied across the portfolio.

Community & Stakeholder Engagement

  • As needed, assist with creation of materials for public meetings and stakeholder outreach, including website/landing page, surveys, presentations, handouts & collateral, tenant-focused materials.
  • Communityfocused communications.

Project Marketing Execution

The role involves creation of schedules and tasks and coordination of outside vendors including branding firms, renderers, web/digital, and event planning partners. It will also involve coordinating with our joint venture and public partners/clients.

PreDevelopment

  • Branding and naming process; coordinating with vendors and/or leading internal process
  • Project fact sheets and presentation materials.
  • Early-stage landing pages and digital setup.
  • Community engagement platform coordination.
  • Coordination with Gilbane's Communications Manager and consultants on press releases related to project milestones.

Construction & LeaseUp

  • Project website launches.
  • Site signage
  • Renderings, virtual tours, floor plans, photography, and videography.
  • Google Business listing setup.
  • Digital advertising/ILS listing setup, as needed.
  • Leasing office branding and opening events.
  • Collaboration with property management on preleasing plans.

Events & Industry Presence

Coordinate with internal development team and project partners to lead events such as groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, leasing office openings, organizing procurement of vendors, planners, and billing activities.

Evaluation Criteria

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Consistency and quality of project marketing deliverables
  • Timely completion of marketing schedules and project milestones
  • Effective and professional coordination with development and property management teams, including joint venture partners and clients


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in the marketing and/or development industry
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Intermediate knowledge and skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Canva
  • Asana or similar project management software experience preferred, but teachable.
  • Strong time management, organization, communication skills, teamwork, intermediate writing, and critical thinking skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of real estate development industry awareness as a whole
  • Intermediate knowledge of key disciplines including property marketing ideal

Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.

The pay ranges from $70,800.00 - $120,670.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
