Description Job Title: Quality Technician Location: Fort Payne, AL Employment Type: Contract (8 months) Industry: Manufacturing Compensation: $38.00 /hr. Schedule: 36 hrs/Week. - (1 ^st shift) About the Opportunity: Perform in-process and final inspections of electrical components in accordance with drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Apply nondestructive examination (NDE) techniques, including: Penetrant Testing (PT) Visual Testing (VT) Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) Ensure all inspection activities comply with client and industry quality standards. Accurately document inspection results and findings using designated electronic systems. Maintain objectivity and integrity in reporting inspection outcomes. APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Achieve and maintain Level II certification for the applicable NDE methods by successfully passing general, specific, and practical examinations. Provide verifiable evidence of work experience hours related to NDE methods. Submit valid Level II certification documentation or certification letters as required. Support quality assurance processes within the electrical components manufacturing environment. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure inspection requirements and standards are consistently met. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High School Diploma or GED. 2 years of experience in gauging, drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures. 2 years of NDE experience. What Sets You Apart: Able to maintain their level II status. Must be level II certified in at least PT or VT. Experience with Boroscoping techniques and Level II in UT and PAUT. Familiar with the metric system for measurement. Digital literacy and Microsoft Office proficiency are requirements. SAP knowledge.
