The Clinical Partnerships and Program Data Coordinator for the Office of Teacher Education in the College of Education & Human Development provides clinical placement support for CEHD's early childhood and elementary teacher education program, as well as for the College of Liberal Arts Music Education program. The coordinator also supports the accreditation work of the Office of Teacher Education by coordinating the collection of data that monitors and demonstrates compliance with state requirements surrounding clinical experience and faculty qualifications. This position serves as a primary liaison between the university and partner schools, cultivating strong relationships to secure high-quality placements opportunities for teacher candidates. In addition, the role manages the collection, organization, and reporting of program data to meet state accreditation requirements. Working closely with faculty, staff, and school partners, the Clinical Placements and Program Data Coordinator develops efficient processes, resolves placement challenges, and supports continuous program improvement through data collection and sharing. The coordinator will report to the Director of School Relations and Clinical Partnerships. This is a hybrid position. Any in-person work would be UMN Twin Cities campus or off-site work at metro area schools. The University of Minnesota encourages a healthy work-life balance for employees. About the Department
The Office of Teacher Education (OTE) provides operational leadership and support across the university for the initial, additional, and alternative teacher licensure program area faculty, staff, teacher candidates, and cooperating school professionals. OTE works across the College and University in support of the teaching, research, outreach, and accreditation goals specific to the development of pre-service teacher candidates and school-based professionals in district/school clinical preparation partnerships.
