Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to serve as the Global Threat Analysis Team Lead within our marquee Federal Strategic Cyber program, providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective, and secure business processes. Location: Arlington, VA, on-site, full-time. In this role, you will:
Perform consolidated and comprehensive information and intelligence analysis of threat data obtained from classified, proprietary, and open-source resources to provide indication and warning of impending attacks against information systems and personnel.
- Identify, analyze and report on unique attack vectors, emerging cyber threats, and current trends used by malicious state and non-state actors.
- Perform cyber and technical threat intelligence analyses of foreign countries, hacker groups, terrorist organizations and other entities with capabilities that could pose potential harm to Department interests and persons.
- Assess the cyber threat environment for U.S. Missions worldwide.
- Provide cyber security guidance to personnel on threats to external accounts (e.g. employee personal accounts, official social media and devices).
- Provide supervisory guidance to team members, in accordance with customer and leadership objectives.
- Allocate and manage contract resources.
- Manage analysts' day-to-day schedule, delegate tasks, and communication of goals.
- Manage project/product progress and ensure metrics are met and reported; ensure timely completion of tasks and quality of products and deliverables.
- Facilitate training and provide coaching to team members to identify and address technical and analytic skill set gaps.
- Identify training requirements and develop internal/external training plans in accordance with customer priorities, individual/personal development or emerging trends.
- Represent the team and advocate for the team's needs and additional resources.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience. An additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
- Must possess or be able to obtain at least one of the following certifications before start date. Continued certification required as a condition of employment:
- CASP+ CE; CCNA Cyber Ops; CCNA-Security; CCNP Security; CEH; CFR; CISA; CISSP (or Associate); Cloud+; CySA+; GCED; GCIA; GCIH; GICSP; SCYBER; VCA DCV; PPDA; Agile IC
SNOW App Dev
- Supervisory or lead experience specific to cyber threat intelligence analysis and production.
- Strong writing skills and demonstrated ability to produce and lead complex analysis of cyber threat issues.
- Familiarity with structure analytic techniques and standards such as ICD-203 and ICD-206 as well as the MITRE ATT&CK and cyber threat kill chain frameworks.
- Demonstrable subject matter expertise of Advanced Persistent Threat actors, cyber criminals, criminal hacktivists and proxies and associated targeting profiles, tactics, techniques and procedures.
- Identify, analyze, and be able to resolve program support deficiencies.
- Proven ability to develop and recommend corrective actions.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred:
- Expertise to design and define system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems.
- Ability to determine systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security.
- Proficient in providing technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.
- IAT Level II certification.
- Security+ certification.
- CSSP Infrastructure Support.

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
