Description Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. Maintenance Technician Location: Cudahy, CA Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Cylinder Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance of all industrial/specialty gas cylinders in a plant environment. What you will be doing: (2nd Shift) Consistently achieving results while repairing leaks, inspecting, and disposing of defective cylinders, and painting cylinders Knowing the most effective and efficient processes of testing, repairing, converting cylinders, receiving new cylinders and supplies, with a focus on continuous improvement Operate a forklift to move product throughout facility General cleaning tasks and basic facility maintenance Other duties as assigned Qualifications What you will be doing: Consistently achieving results while repairing leaks, inspecting, and disposing of defective cylinders, and painting cylinders Knowing the most effective and efficient processes of testing, repairing, converting cylinders, receiving new cylinders and supplies, with a focus on continuous improvement Operate a forklift to move product throughout facility General cleaning tasks and basic facility maintenance Other duties as assigned What makes you great: High school diploma or G.E.D. Gas industry and cylinder maintenance experience preferred Proficient in mechanical operations or skilled in mechanical tasks Knowledge of equipment such as hydrostatic and ultrasonic testers, and maintain certification requirements Ensures accountability through excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills Demonstrates personal ownership for safety and actively contributes to a strong safety culture Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift 40-70 pounds occasionally Willingness to work overtime Upholds high standards of honesty and integrity Demonstrates personal ownership for safety and actively contributes to a strong safety culture Contributes to a positive work environment where differences are valued and supported Strives for personal achievement and helps others attain results Why you will enjoy working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
