Branch Manager *Location:* Local Branch (Onsite)
*Schedule:* Full-Time | Includes 2 Saturdays per Month (9:00 AM-1:00 PM, flexed during the week) About the Opportunity We are seeking an energetic, sales-driven *Branch Manager* to lead a small but high-impact branch in a community-focused environment. This role is ideal for a developing leader who thrives on relationship building, outbound engagement, and hands-on coaching. This branch requires a *strong, visible leader* who is comfortable working outside the branch, building local partnerships, and driving results beyond walk-in traffic. Success in this role is measured through clear, objective performance metrics tied to growth and member experience. What You'll Do * Lead, coach, and develop a branch team to meet *loan growth, deposit growth, and member growth goals* * Partner with other retail leaders and rotate leadership coverage as needed * Conduct regular *one-on-one coaching*, team observations, and performance reviews * Actively engage in *community outreach and business development*, including offsite work * Manage outbound calling efforts to *existing members* (no cold calling) * Oversee daily branch operations including scheduling, staffing, cross-training, and reporting * Serve as the primary escalation point for member and team concerns * Foster a service culture focused on improving members' financial lives * Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and applicable regulations Performance Expectations Performance goals are *black-and-white and results-driven*, including: * Branch scorecard results * Lending growth * Membership growth * Deposit growth * Organizational performance metrics Incentive payouts are *percentage-based*, paid *quarterly*: * Payouts begin at *75% of goal achievement* * Increased rewards for meeting and exceeding *100% of goals* Branch Environment * Small team environment (approximately 4 FTEs including Manager) * Limited walk-in traffic; success depends on *outbound efforts and visibility* * Located in a primarily *industrial/commercial area* * Strong emphasis on community integration and relationship building * Dedicated budget to support branch growth initiatives Key Skills for Success * Extroverted and relationship-oriented * Strong sales mentality with comfort driving goals * Ability to shift priorities quickly in a fast-paced environment * Confident leader who can rebuild momentum and trust * Comfortable being highly visible in the community Qualifications * 2-5 years of experience in banking, credit union, or financial services (leadership preferred) * Experience coaching, leading, or mentoring team members * Associate degree or equivalent business-related education * Strong working knowledge of: * Consumer and business accounts * Lending products * Deposits and relationship growth * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills * Able to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines * Ability to obtain and maintain: * NMLS registration * Notary designation * Required bonding/clearances *Job Type & Location* This is a Permanent position based out of Royal Oak, MI. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $610000.00/yr.
