Position Summary

Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies. For more than a century the company has been enabling engineering breakthroughs that lead to a better tomorrow.

In this multifunctional role, the ideal candidate will possess a strong background in problem-solving as well as a good combination of office and mechanical testing skills. The candidate will be involved in a variety of projects ranging from concept through product launch and product improvements. This is an ideal opportunity for those interested in hands-on application of design principles.

Availability:

We have three co-op positions available. Students must be able to work 40 hours per week during the Fall 2026 or Fall 2026 & Spring 2027 semesters.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conducting performance testing to validate products to internal and external specifications. Perform product failure analysis and report findings.
  • Development of engineering working drawings for manufacturing prototypes or existing part revisions.
  • Creation of engineering reports to communicate test results and next steps clearly.
  • Provide technical support for existing product lines and assist in development of new products.

Position Requirements:

  • Undergraduate: Sophomore status or greater. Mechanical Engineering major. Required proficiencies: CAD and Microsoft Office preferred.
