Job Summary

Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform parts pack order administration duties on a daily basis.
  • Assemble paperwork & packets for LPN's and customer PO's.
  • Prep and pack to engineering specifications.
  • Utilizing proper loading procedures to safely load and unload LTL drivers as well as Flat Beds
  • Operating Yard Dog- Pulling and Backing Trailers
  • Able to receive and distribute all incoming material.
  • Communicate professionally with sub vendors- truck drivers.
  • Data entry
  • Operate all fork truck in the department.
  • Operate hand and power tools.
  • Comply with company quality and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Interaction with planners regarding new order notification
  • Oracle parts processing / sub-inventory transfers and component reviews
  • Telnet parts processing to generate the LPN number and shipping label.
  • Identifying and locating parts through Aras Innovator
  • Interaction with procurement to establish a current ETA for customer order requirements.
  • Resolve receiving discrepancies with material buyers.
  • Other production control activities and functions as required.
  • Hazmat Responsible
  • Backup shipping & receiving clerks as well as the shipping coordinator in their absences

TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Read and understand customer order specifications.
  • Operate computer to locate work instructions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Drivers License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous employment in manufacturing
  • Ability to work in a Team oriented setting
  • Good Communication skills - Verbal & Written
  • Certified fork lift license
  • CDL
  • Shipping and Receiving experience
