Aquent is partnering with a leading financial institution dedicated to safeguarding its operations and customer data through robust cybersecurity measures.

Are you a seasoned cybersecurity professional passionate about data protection and secure deployments? We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our client's dynamic security team, where you will play a pivotal role in fortifying their digital defenses.

This is a remote opportunity. Candidates must currently reside in one of the following states or districts to be eligible for the role: AL, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MD, MN, MO, NC, NE, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TX, VA, or WV.

**What You'll Do:**

* Lead the secure deployment and configuration of the ShareFile Outlook Plug-In across the clien'ts Microsoft 365 environment with a strong focus on preventing data leakage and ensuring secure information exchange.

* Design and implement comprehensive Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls across email communications, endpoint devices, and network gateways.

* Proactively assess and mitigate data exposure risks associated with email attachments, cloud file sharing, and interactions with external recipients.

* Configure and manage Check Point Smart-1 (R82) enterprise security gateways, including defining access policies, implementing HTTPS inspection, and ensuring robust logging.

* Administer Check Point Endpoint Security (E88.62) policies, meticulously aligning them with overarching endpoint-based DLP objectives to protect data at its source.

* Provide expert support for all enterprise Outlook platforms, ensuring their secure and efficient operation.

* Develop essential security documentation, conduct thorough risk assessments, and create validation test plans to ensure the effectiveness of security controls.

* Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Security, Compliance, and Messaging teams to integrate security best practices seamlessly across the organization.

**What You'll Bring:**

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* 5+ years of enterprise cybersecurity engineering experience.

* Strong hands-on experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies and implementations.

* Expertise with Check Point Smart-1 / Security Gateways (R82)

* Expertise with Check Point Endpoint Security (E88.x, preferably E88.62).

* Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 email and messaging architecture.

* Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Experience with various file-sharing platforms such as ShareFile or OneDrive

* Familiarity with Microsoft Purview DLP or compliance tooling

* Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments.

* Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles.
