UCSF Occupational Health Services provides occupational wellbeing services to support the UCSF employee community. In order to succeed in the work, we developed partnerships and care delivery models, which require strong project management, leadership and support. The programs developed in Occupational Health include project management work, leadership and facilitation of Respiratory Viral Illness workgroups, Flu Outreach and other programs, maintaining the hotline & contact tracing workflows, coordinating communication of organizational changes to work guidelines, and monitoring of program performance metrics. The ideal candidate will also be in charge of coordinating the Flu Outreach and immunization program, by collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders and crafting the communications in collaboration with OHS Administrative Director. The Project Manager will partner with clinical leaders to ensure successful implementation of patient and employee workflows across all teams.
The OHS Project Manager will be responsible for having a broad understanding of the services provided by Occupational Health Services. Oversees continuous improvement initiatives, strealining workflows and managing complex projects.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $90,700 - $193,500 (Annual Rate). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
- 5 years experience or equivalent education, training and experience to successfully meet expectations for the role
- 5 years recent experience in healthcare project management, performance improvement or quality improvement
- 2 years recent experience in health system administration, ambulatory, primary or specialty care
- In-depth knowledge of , Occupational Health Services delivery system reform and accountable care standards
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and patient health information.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point Access, with the ability to run analytical reports and summarize information
- Advanced organizational and project management skills, with the ability to lead stakeholder meetings , prioritize tasks, and see projects through from inception to completion on schedule
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage highly-complex information, assess problems, and develop effective solutions
- Advanced interpersonal skills for collaborating effectively with a broad range of clinical and professional staff
- Advanced written and verbal communication skill with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner and produce high-quality documents, reports and presentations
- Advanced ability to influence and persuade staff, management, and clinicians at all levels and across departments.
- Ability to exercise professional judgment in handling sensitive and confidential issues.
- Excellent analytical, program and project management and independent problem-solving skills
- Highly proficient in multiple software applications (, Access, Trello) and database applications
- Ability to demonstrate excellent judgment, attention to process and detail
