Job Summary:
Will provide support to the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) General Practice Residency (GPR) and the Department of Orofacial Sciences (OFS) Residency Programs and provide department support in the area of facilities, space, special projects and some human resources under the direction of the Department Manager. Will serve as main point of contact for the residency programs. May provide some support for PeopleConnect cases (tickets) submissions and coordinate completion of necessary documents with the Department Chair, and Department Manager for some HR activities. In coordination with the Department Manager, manage the department website, and space needs of the department. Develop and analyze processes, systems and reporting in completing assigned tasks. Effectively communicate potential areas of concern to Department Manager.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
  • Program Coordination or Residency Program Coordination experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of related experience
  • Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff verbally and in writing.
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
  • Working knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs.
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Knowledge of a variety of administrative operational activities such as event planning, website design, and payroll.
  • Working knowledge of University rules and regulations, processes, protocols, and procedures for personnel management.
