Manages the delivery of ambulatory patient care, which typically includes nursing, and may include laboratory, radiology, dental, etc. Facilitates the flow of patient care activities; may also participate in practice or center management operations. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $191,800 - $256,600 (Annual Rate). Required Qualifications
Strong clinic/center patient care management skills, including practice management knowledge in scheduling, customer service methods, regulatory compliance, accreditation requirements, and/or healthcare information technology.Broad knowledge of the patient population served and requirements for effective delivery of healthcare services.Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective communication and collaborative decision-making.Strong leadership, fiscal, and operations management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, management, and multidisciplinary staff.Ability to create and maintain a goal-oriented environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.Knowledge of healthcare information technology systems and patient care workflows.Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements and the legislative, accreditation, licensing, and compliance environments affecting healthcare operations.Proven ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, and delegate responsibilities effectively.BSN


Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of current and emerging best practices and technologies in the clinic/center healthcare industry.1-3 years of related departmental experience in a detention center environment.2-3 years of progressive supervisory or leadership experience.Master's Degree in Nursing.

  • Broad knowledge of patient populations served and requirements for effective delivery of healthcare services

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Knowledge of current and emerging best practices and technologies in clinic/center healthcare settings
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of progressive supervisory or leadership experience
